Dr. Cook joined our Center in August 2006 and since her start has performed over 4700 surgeries. She completed a fellowship in adult reconstruction and sports medicine at the Insall Scott Kelly Institute in New York City. Dr. Cook is a member of the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons and she specializes in minimally invasive surgery. She is also a member of the Arthroscopy Association of North America. She serves as the Vice Chair on the Good Samaritan Health Clinic’s Board of Directors and co-founded the charity organization WOGO (Women Orthopaedist Global Outreach www.wogo.org).
Dr. Cook’s areas of expertise include: primary knee, hip, shoulder, and reverse shoulder replacements, revision knee and shoulder replacements, arthroscopy of the knee and shoulder, ligament reconstruction including primary and revision ACL reconstruction, primary and revision rotator cuff and labral repairs, instability surgery for the knee and shoulder, and fracture management. She also performs surgery for metastatic bone lesions. She treats all ages and can treat most pediatric orthopaedic injuries.
