Dr. James Donovan provides orthopaedic care in the northern Pinellas County and southwestern Pasco County area. He completed his undergraduate training at the University of Kentucky and his Medical School training at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. Dr. Donovan completed his Orthopaedic Surgery Residency in Flint, Michigan, and then moved to Louisville, Kentucky to complete a Hand and Upper Extremity Fellowship.
Dr. Donovan’s training has made him both an expert in non-operative treatments of injuries as well as adept at surgical procedures such as: shoulder replacement and arthroscopic shoulder procedures, elbow reconstructive surgeries, and wrist and hand surgeries. He also treats hip, knee, and foot/ankle conditions, and treats fractures of all bones in both children and adults as well as metastatic lesions.
